It was Mittens' birthday, and the office was buzzing with excitement. As the day wore on, it became apparent that someone was planning a surprise party. Mittens, oblivious to the whole thing, was focused on his work in GroupWise. He was furiously checking off items on his GroupWise task list, and coordinating Coffee breaks with the GroupWise shared calendar.  Meanwhile, in the break room, a group of Mittens' coworkers were busily preparing for the celebration.

As the clock struck 3 PM, the break room door swung open, and a chorus of "Happy Birthday" erupted from the crowd. Mittens was taken aback, but delighted to see his colleagues gathered in his honor. As he made his way over to the cake, someone tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around to see a coworker he didn't know well, the office clown, Chuckles the Jester.

Chuckles, the self-proclaimed "Director of Mischief," had a mischievous glint in his eye. Mittens braced himself for what he knew was coming next. Chuckles produced a whoopee cushion and placed it on Mittens' chair, grinning from ear to ear. As Mittens sat down, the cushion let out a loud, embarrassing noise, causing the entire room to burst into laughter.

Despite the practical joke, Mittens was grateful for the party and enjoyed spending time with his colleagues. One coworker, Susan, who was known for her artistic skills, presented Mittens with a printed book containing all of his favorite memes. Mittens flipped through the pages, chuckling at each one.

The surprise party had been planned through GroupWise, using the calendar and email features to coordinate the event. It was a great reminder of how technology can bring people together, even in the most unexpected ways. As the party drew to a close, Mittens felt grateful to be part of such a fun and supportive workplace.
