Virtualization
Virtualization has become a requirement for most datacenters. Whether you are looking for server consolidation and reduced hardware costs, or need high availability and disaster recovery, we can help. We’ve worked with businesses and organizations at different points in their virtualization roadmap, so we’re ready to jump in with you wherever you’re at.
VMware vSphere
For many, the VMware vSphere product-line is a relatively new part of the datacenter. You may be a little scared about putting so many servers on the same hardware. You may not have the luxury of dedicating a staff member to learning all there is to offer with VMware. Let us work with you to allay your fears. Our experience allows us to come into your environment with our best practices to ensure a stable backbone for your systems.
Physical-to-Virtual
There are lots of different options for how to get from physical servers to virtual servers. You might slowly build servers in the virtual environment, while retiring old physical servers. Or you might choose to do P2V migrations. P2V migrations are process of migrating an entire physical server and converting it to virtual. This is not a reinstall, but keeps the operating system and data intact. Some servers are good candidates for this, while others are not. Regardless, we’re ready to help you determine the best route for your virtual migration and do the heavily-lifting for you.
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
Virtualization provides new options for ensuring your systems are always available and recovering from a failure. Because the virtual server is no longer bound by physical constraints, we have much more flexibility for moving the virtual machine. Server maintenance becomes easier, high availability becomes attainable and disaster recovery becomes plausible.
