Being able to brag about system uptime and how much money you are saving your company. 6) Do you have a Linux strategy? No, we prefer to be driven by the decisions of a single vendor. Yes, we have a strategy and prefer solutions that give us platform flexibility. 7) Do you like Marketing Hype? Yes. I prefer to reboot my servers weekly. This ensures that things run smoothly and we have less downtime. Weekly reboots are a good thing. It shouldn’t be necessary to reboot a server. 9) If your systems go down for whatever reason, would you rather: Reinstall the system, which usually fixes it. Troubleshooting is overrated. Be able to pinpoint the problem and fix it without reinstalling. 10) Which statement best represents your idea of Sunday afternoon: Sunday afternoons are our patch management day.
